ImBox Sweden AB’s (ImBox) processing of personal data occurs in line with applicable legislation at any point. This means, amongst other things, that ImBox safeguards your personal data using necessary measures and you always have the right to contact us to find out what personal data we have stored. This privacy policy describes how ImBox processes your personal data.

Who is responsible for your personal data?

ImBox Sweden AB, corp. reg. no. 556918-0754, is the data controller for the processing of your personal data and is responsible for processing taking place in a legal manner.

How does ImBox get access to your personal data?

ImBox collects personal data that your provide us when, for example, you contact us on our website, through social media, chats, forms, emails, apply for a job with us or in other use of our services.

ImBox may also receive personal data from other sources. The data may be sent from the Swedish Tax Agency, for example.

What data is processed?

ImBox processes personal data provided to us and/or collected by us. This may be names, email address, phone numbers, address details, personal identity numbers, customer numbers, bank details, CVs and cover letters.

Why does ImBox process data about you?

Your personal data may be processed by ImBox for the following purposes:

  • to meet our commitments to you as a customer
  • to provide functional, efficient and simple services
  • to provide good customer care and service through answering questions sent to us
  • to manage job applications
  • to use as the basis for invoicing and bookkeeping

When does ImBox have the right to process your data?

ImBox has the right to process the data necessary to fulfil our commitments to you or if you have consented to data processing. ImBox may also need to process your personal data due to legal or regulatory requirements.

Who has access your personal data?

Your personal data is used by ImBox and ImBox data processors. We do not disclose personal data to other companies or authorities if we are not obliged to do so by law, regulations or a decision from the authorities or to protect our rights or the rights of third parties.

We never forward, sell or swap your personal data for marketing purposes to third parties.

Transfer to third countries

ImBox does not transfer your personal data to countries outside of the EU/EEA unless there is a specific reason to do so in relation with you providing your personal data to us.

How long does ImBox store your data for?

ImBox only stores your personal data for as long as necessary for us to complete the purpose of processing your data in each case.

Personal data belonging to a customer is deleted as a rule when our contractual relationship has come to an end, provided that the personal data does not then need to be saved for bookkeeping purposes.

What are your rights?

You have the right to request (free once a year) information about what personal data has been saved at any point. Your request must be made in writing and personally signed and contain your name and personal identity number. This is needed so that the data can be disclosed to the correct person.

If your data is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you can request for it to be amended. You have the right to have your personal data deleted. However, we are not able to delete your data if there are statutory requirements to store them, such as bookkeeping rules, or when there are legitimate reasons to storing your data, such as unpaid debts.

You can withdraw your consent allowing us to process your personal data at any point.

You also have the right in certain circumstances to make a complaint to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, the supervisory authority for personal data processing.

ImBox constantly works to take all technical and organizational measures required in each case to protect your personal data and otherwise ensure that processing occurs in line with applicable legislation.
